The Company will be entitled, at its absolute discretion, to refuse any booking placed.  The Hirer undertakes that all details provided to the Company for the purpose of booking will be correct and that the cheque book account and/or credit card you are using contains sufficient funds to cover the cost of hire. The price as agreed if booked using a credit card / debit card through Pay-Pal may include an administration and /or booking fee.

Terms and Conditions Provision of Fire Engine limousine hire by the Company is subject to the following terms and conditions:

1.        The Company aims to provides a safe, reliable, punctual and pleasurable service but no responsibility can be accepted for delays or cancellation of service caused by traffic congestion, road works or adverse weather conditions. The Hirer indemnifies the Company and its employees against any loss, consequential or otherwise as a result, direct or otherwise, of a failure to meet time deadlines. Neither the Company or employees will be responsible for missed connections and/or functions of the Hirer, howsoever caused, as it is entirely the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that there is adequate time to travel to and from destinations. The Company or its employees will provide advice, but this does not form any part of a contract between the Hirer and the Company or its employees.

2.        Whilst the Company undertakes to ensure that its vehicle is properly serviced and maintained it will not accept any responsibility for delay or cancellation as a result of any breakdown or accident, howsoever caused. In the unlikely event of a breakdown or accident every effort will be made for an immediate repair so that the journey can continue, or the party will be transferred to another vehicle.

3.        In the event of a breakdown or accident to the vehicle before the date of hire, the Company will make every effort to ensure that the vehicle is repaired or an alternative vehicle made available. If this is not acceptable to the Hirer, or if the Company is unable to fulfil this condition, the Company will refund any monies paid for the hire. The Company reserves the right at any time to change, replace or renew the vehicle booked. The Hirer expressly accepts that the entertainment system is provided as a courtesy and its use and/or availability does not form part of the hire. The Company will endeavour to ensure that all equipment is in working order but in the event that any equipment fitted to the engine malfunctions prior to or during the hire, the Company accepts no liability and no compensation or refund shall be provided in such instances.

4.        Behaviour which could give rise to damage to the vehicle, cause offence to other persons or endanger the safety of other passengers will not be tolerated in any form. This includes, but is not restricted to; sitting on the exterior of the vehicle, climbing the rear ladders, hanging out of the windows, shouting abuse to other road users or pedestrians out of the window, rudeness or intolerance with the chauffeur, misuse of the equipment, fixtures or consumables within the vehicle and wilful damage to the interior generally. Such behaviour may, at the sole discretion of the chauffeur, result in the immediate termination of the hire without compensation.

5.        The Hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused to the vehicle or its contents (including incitement to any third party that results in damage to the vehicle) or for any theft/removal of Company property (e.g. drinking glasses, CDs etc) from the vehicle by any of the members of his or her party. The Hirer agrees to be liable for the total cost of any repair - such repair to be determined by the Company together with a fixed daily rate (to be determined by the Company) whilst the vehicle is out of commission. Any persons seen to cause damage to the fire engine limousine will be charged accordingly and may be driven to the nearest Police station without warning from the driver.

6.        Unless otherwise instructed by the passenger, routes travelled will be at the chauffeur’s discretion, in accordance with road, traffic and weather conditions, whether the route is the shortest or not. Whilst the chauffeur will endeavour to pick up and set down passengers at requested points this may not always be possible due to the length, width, and weight of the vehicle, surface conditions, private property laws, safety issues or road traffic laws and regulations. In the event that vehicular access to the requested address is not possible every effort will be made to bring the vehicle as close as possible to the requested address. The chauffeur is the sole arbiter as to whether a vehicle can be taken to the requested location and his/her decision is final.

7.        IN ANY ONE TRIP THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PASSENGERS THAT WILL BE CARRIED IS EIGHT, IN ADDITION TO THE CHAUFFEUR. The limit of eight passengers is a legal restriction as we are licensed as a private hire vehicle, and the Company will not carry more than this under any circumstances as it would invalidate our ‘Hire & Reward’ insurance cover. One adult must accompany children's parties where any child is under the age of 8 years.  The adult is responsible for ensuring that the children wear the seat belts provided, and behave in a sensible manner and do not become a danger to the driver or themselves. Each hours hire means for one continuous hour, not two or more separate periods, but this may be relaxed at the discretion of the Company.

8.        Luggage and personal effects are stored or carried in fire engine at the owners risk. Whilst the Company and its employees will always use their best endeavours to ensure the safety of such items, no responsibility can be taken for any loss or damage. It is the passengers’ responsibility to ensure that the correct number of cases/pieces of luggage are loaded/unloaded and the figure should be agreed with the chauffeur.

9.        Seat Belts - the Hirer must advise all passengers in the party that they are required by law to wear a seat belt where there is one fitted in that seating position.. The Hirer specifically indemnifies the Company and the Chauffeur against any fines imposed as a consequence of passengers failing to comply with this legal requirement.

10.      The Hirer expressly accepts that except in cases of an emergency, only the Chauffeur may open and close doors. This is a safety precaution to minimise the risk of accidents to the passengers and damage to the vehicle.  The Hirer accepts all responsibility for any damage to the vehicle and/or any third party as a result of the Hirer or Hirer’s party failing to adhere to this condition.

11.      To maintain the vehicle interior in good condition, and for the comfort and safety of passengers, SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED inside the fire engine at any time. Any passengers failing to abide by this policy will be immediately ejected from the fire engine without any refund or compensation. Passengers who require a cigarette should request the chauffeur to stop at a convenient point to allow them to smoke away from the vehicle.

12.      The Company does not allow the carriage of offensive weapons or the carriage/use of illegal substances in its vehicles. Failure to comply with this condition will result in the immediate termination of hire without compensation and may result in the Police being requested to attend.

13.      The Company recognises and accepts that fire engine limousine hire is often arranged to transport clients to venues or events where substantial alcohol will be consumed or illegal drugs used. Whilst the Company is committed to ensuring its clients have an enjoyable time it also has to consider safety and vehicle damage issues. The Company and its employees therefore reserve the right to refuse access to the vehicle where a passenger appears to be severely under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

14.      Should a passenger be ill in the fire engine, and vomit makes contact with any part of the vehicle, the journey will be stopped and that person will be required to pay £100 before the trip will continue. This is to cover the costs of the valeting of the vehicle to remove any odour. In the event that the passenger will not or cannot pay, it shall become the responsibility of the Hirer to make this payment. If feeling ill the chauffeur on request will stop as soon as it is safe to do so.

15.      The consumption of food inside the vehicle is prohibited unless specifically agreed by the Company at the time of booking. Permission to consume hot takeaway food (e.g. chips, burgers, kebabs, fried chicken etc) in the fire engine will NOT be given under any circumstances.

16.      Alcoholic drinks can be consumed only if all passengers are over the age of eighteen. Passengers may bring their own drinks into the vehicle for consumption.

17.      Photographs can be taken inside or around the Fire engine limousine  Photographs may be taken by the Company on the express understanding that the Company may use them without charge in its publicity material or internet web site but undertakes not to display photographs it may reasonably expect to cause embarrassment or offence and will immediately remove photographs from its web site if requested to do so by the subjects of a photograph, a member of their party, or the owner of any property depicted in the photograph.

18.      The fire engine is cleaned prior to departure, but no liability can be accepted for clothing etc., being marked, stained or dirtied by road dirt, oil, grease or any other substance from any part of the vehicle.

19.      Fire engine Limousines have steep steps so passengers should take care when entering or leaving the fire engine limousine. The Company cannot and will not accept responsibility for personal injury to passengers falling to heed this advice, or for damage to any articles that may be harmed whilst getting in or out of the fire engine.

20.      The Company may decline or refuse any request for hire or apply special conditions (e.g. require a deposit against possible damage) without explanation or reason.

21.

22.     These terms and conditions are for the protection of both the Hirer and the Company.  If you do have any claim or complaint, you should first seek redress from the Company. The laws of England shall govern the contract between the Hirer and said Company and we hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts. Individual amendments to these terms and conditions must be approved by the directors of the Company.
